Why would they use the cadillac's upscale V6 in the mainstream camaro? I think if they use two V6, they are just going to discontinue one of them. Most likely it will be the high performance one to get cut. If a 60 degree V6 is used, those of us who purchase one with the intent to V8 swap later will be so disappointed because the drivetrain components want be compatible to that of a V8. They need to use one well-balanced entry-level engine. If retro and refinement is the theme, I suggest using the 242/242 hp@5600 rpm/toque@2800 rpm Alas I5. The 69' camaro had a I6. The Alas I5 is multi-valve, powerful, competitive to the mustang's V6, and very underrated because of the truck applications. USING THE CADILLAC'S V6 MAYBE CROSSING THE LINE, A BUST. A V6 is so thinking inside of the box.
