On my Porsche the cap is magnetic to the door its a very cool design I love it.

That gives me an idea... Get a small magnet and some contact cement. I haven't looked at the inside of the gas door on these cars but if its steel, easy to do. If its plastic, you could still glue another magnet or a little piece of steel to the inside of the door.
Anyone want to try it out?
