The 12-inch long runners will help with low-RPM torque. Personally, I think the twin-screw compressors are a bit big for running low boost, under 12 or so pounds. In my opinion, the graphs you posted are indicative of an Edelbrock blower running more within its efficiency range; the KB and Whipple compressors require more boost to operate within their respective efficiency ranges. Want further proof? Just look and see what Harrop's little 1.9L TVS is accomplishing with relatively low amounts of boost.
