I put in the Pioneer which meant I had to buy the XM add on module. It's mounted under the passenger side seat and currently, the antenna is mounted under the plastic cowl right below the windshield. I'm going to track down an extension for the xm antenna because i'm losing the xm signal from time to time. The extension will let me use the existing xm antenna that I think is installed in the shark fin.
Ah ok. Definately keep us updated on finding that extension cause if I get this kit down the line, I want to hook it up to the vehicle's antenna as well. Hopefully they get that issue sorted out with the unit not being able to answer calls on the car phone. Great vids by the way, very helpful!
