The people your dealership talked to simply don't have direct knowledge of the issue. GM is a very large company with thousands of employees. There's no way for every employee to know everything that goes wrong with every vehicle. You need to keep in mind the gravity of the issue too. Having sync problems with your Iphone is not a catastrophic issue and therefore pretty low on most people's(in the company) radar. If we're taking the poster in the other thread at his word, then from what he says, the people who work on the PDIM know about the issue and are dealing with it. Just be patient brother... it'll get fixed.
