Most cars aren't made for Alaska winters, however that says nothing about the lower 48. The SS will do fine here in Mass with snow tires. The ride height isn't that low where you have to worry about clearing PLOWED roads and driveways.
Also FEW cars are marketed as winter cars outside of AWD Subbies and the like. That mean you can't own a RWD BMW or Mercedes in the north??
