This just hit me today... I was down at my dealer yesterday getting the car washed. Every single Camaro down there has a 5k dealer mark up, v6, v8, you name it!

I didn't think about it at the time, but when I traded my car in in was in fair to good condition at best. Had a couple paint and rust issues, etc. KBB says my car was 20,500 fair, and 22,700 good, I figured 21k for trade in.

I tried to talk them out of the 5k mark up, but being upside down in my trade, when they told me they were going to give me 26k for my trade I figued, "Well, that kinda cancels out the markup doesn't it?"...

Anyone else experience this?
