If you are buying it beacuse you just want to cruise then go for it. If you are buying it bacause you think it will be fast than dont get it. I never understood the 305. IMO the best thing to do with a 305 is yank it out and throw it in the nearest dumpster and start over with a 350. Yet people will still install cams, and heads to these cars....I just never got it. But for a transportaion only car why not. If you like it buy it
