Don't even go there about "southern hospitality"....lived in NC, SC, and VA....first question they ask with a great big warm southern smile is how are yah doin', and the second is what church you go to. Say the wrong thing on the second and they are done.

HOWEVER, my experience with my Camaro has been nothing but GREAT. Can't drive it anywhere without getting waves, smiles, questions, comments, feedback, and best of all tips on good shops that take care of mod's with these babies.

I'm pretty use to people not being friendly so I don't generally notice them....but always enjoy the kindness coming my way from all sorts of folks. Like others have said, Vette owners are a pretty good group as well. Lots of waves through the sun roofs as I pass on by (seems every Vette owner drives them like they are out for a Sunday crawl...yet another reason I am SOOOOO glad I didn't buy a Vette....it is such a tight and stiff ride that it isn't something that you want to put miles on every day). I can afford to buy just about any car out there (of the variety that people actually drive and not just collect), and after a year of looking around and picking up two Hummers along the way, the Camaro was the car of choice!

I've got a waiting list for rides.....love taking my kids out with a friend or two for a ride....kids get TONS of cool points from their friends!

Also, the other day while in front of the school, I was parked and waiting, another Camaro drove by w/ what looked like a teenager, maybe early 20's guy driving, I waved and smile at him and he looked at me as if to say: "what the hell are you looking at???". So, for the one's of you who are being acknowledged positively---CONGRATS!!! Whatever happened to Southern Hospitality?

With that being said, I do have quite a few people stop me at gas stations, stores, etc... who want to know all about her!!!!
