I put the molded splash guards on, and the gill chipping has just about stopped. I have one or two on the front, but oh well.....it is a DD with over 12k miles.

I understand what Mr. Clutch is saying in the above post, but geez, I just didn't expect this amount of chipping with a brand new car. The car I got rid of to buy the Camaro, I bought new and it had 175k on it.....had a couple of chips on it, but way less chips than my new Camaro.

I am not obsessed over this, but when I buy a brand new car, I don't think it is unreasonable to expect to get 40k-50k miles on it before it starts looking like crap.
