As an American who lived in Germany for 5 years ( military ) I can confirm that David Hasslehoff was a GOD over there years ago. His face appears all over the country on amusement park rides (bumper cars) and other odd places. Long after the Americans came to the realization that he is no longer cool the Germans didn't get it. And lucky for him cause he made a lot of money in Germany singing. Dont ask me why. I personally loved seeing his face all over and the airbrushed knight-rider pictures because he brought back memories of my childhood. Living in Germany was very cool.... as they are very good beer makers and the food is the bomb! Just don't try to wash your car in your driveway. It is forbidden as I learned the hard way! Got a nice fine for doing this.
