I would not lose any sleep over not having a HUD. I had one on my C6 Corvette, and while nice, it is certainly not spectacular. After the novelty wore off I seldom used it.

Unfortunately, it is projected too low on the windshield to keep your line of sight on the road. Unless the one in the Camaro is greatly improved I would not worry about whether or not it was on my car.
