From this story (haven't read his other thread yet,) it would appear that in this case the mods shouldn't have effected the PCM at all. The lights and subwoofer should be on an entirely different electrical bus on the car than the PCM. The mods would have to go through the breaker panel and regulators before it would get to the PCM. If the mods did cause short and fried the PCM then that also means they either bypassed the breakers and spliced into the power lines prior to the CB panel or the CB panel and regulators were crap to begin with. Also I don't see how the battery was "incorrectly installed" and fry the PCM that way either. If they were reversed, the moment any form of DC power got used the CBs should have popped and you'd notice no power at all. (Entrance lights etc would not come on when they normally would when opening a door.)
They are required to put in writing a detailed description of what exactly voided the warranty with actual proof that what they are claiming destroyed the PCM and voided your warranty actually did it. I'd go to another dealer that's not trying to give you a ride.
