Just for the sake of argument I built a Camaro 2LT RS vs a Mustang V6 Premium and optioned them up as similarly as was reasonably possible, both with manual transmission.
No need to go into detail on the features of the 2LT RS since they are common knowledge here. MSRP $29225.
The Mustang was a 202A package. Includes fog lamps, 18" polished wheels, leather seats, and Sync. I also added HID's and heated seats since these come with the Camaro, as well as 3.31 gears. No MCA package since it is appearance only, doesn't include any actual features not already available on the other models anyway, and only serves to bloat the price. MSRP $29600.
Unless I am missing something these are pretty comparably equipped vehicles, about as apples to apples as the comparison is going to get. And the difference in price is less than $400.
