If I were you I would make an attempt to go by a Chevy dealer and see if he is willing to take one for a test drive with you.Then go to the ford dealer and test drive a mustang.Both of you should come away with an impression of both.But if you cant sell him on the camaro go for the mustang and maybe you can trade it in on a z28 later.Just a thought?Good luck.But when I was young I purchased my first car a 1955 ford two dr. with $100.00 hard earned bucks.1963 was the year,and I was happy to have it.
