Dude, my first car was a '76 AMC Gremlin with a rag instead of a gas cap. 2 weeks after I got rid of it, the engine fell out as the guy was driving it down the street. And, I paid for it myself from money I saved from delivering newspapers and mowing lawns, etc. I'd have given my left nut to have had my dad speak those words to me! A BMW or Mustang? Wow! I think I would have passed out! Having said that, I hope you get the car you want, and I hope that you learn to appreciate it.
