If you're going to do roadcourse only 2-5 times a year then skidpad numbers aren't as important as straightline (and price) since you said you're going 1/4 mile every month. Pfadt makes full-out racing stuff and the price reflects that. Pedders makes street stuff that can be used on the track so I'd recommend Pedders for your situation; they are highly adjustable without sacrificing ride quality, will work for all the applications you mention, and the cost is reasonable.

I got the street Xtreme Xa package and with installation, setup and full chassis alignment the whole thing ran about $3k. That includes their terrific Xa coilovers and bushings. They have other packages including a drag racing package that adds more but you can "grow" your setup as you need.

Ask Mike (dms) who to take your car to in New Mexico for installation and setup. It's well worth the money.
