Automatics are fairly idiot-proof unless you are like me. I took my '05 4.0 Mustang to the dragstrip for the first time in a few years last month. I was there early, second car of the night. I had the damn thing in 3 instead of D, ran a 16.7, I was embarrassed as hell. I was so pissed, got back in line right away, it was still early and the line was short, and got my ususal 15.4.
