If you're doing JUST coilovers, you could do that yourself if you're at all handy with tools but figure on it being most of the day unless you have an air wrench to speed things up. With taking breaks, food, etc. you can figure it being a Saturday or Sunday project. If you can afford to have a Pedders dealer do it... that's not a bad way to go cause it makes it a whole lot easier on you. Depends on whether you enjoy doing these kinds of things yourself or not.

An alignment is a good idea afterwards once it's lowered properly the way you want it. Start with 10 clicks as a starting point for the firmness of the coilovers and go from there; 10 is actually pretty good for the street. Going more is going to make the ride stiffer; less will be softer.
