Sounds like possible power loss to me. I know this car has the guts to burnout without even breaking a sweat...
With the TC turned off in my 2002 she's a furious, tire-shredding monster that gets all disrespectful with my 285/35 Pilot Sports, and your gen 5 has at least 30hp on me. You should have no problem burning out, might want to have her checked out.
(Dumb question, but she's past the break-in point right?)
