It does have great control of shifts. You pick what gear you're in and it won't shift until you shift besides downshifting coming to a stop. Keep in mind that, yes, you can downshift. lol Also, I enjoy driving this car with TAPshift. It shifts in sub .2 sec. with the tranny tunes. Enjoyment? Beating M6 cars gives me that enjoyment you're talking about. lol
