Trust me, that's exactly why I asked him to turn it on. I took a couple of pix but honestly you can't see any difference from when it's turned off. Even in person you've got to squint and kind of cock your head to the side to pick it up. From what I can tell the lighting display is pretty true to the video; the whole panel doesn't light up, just the outer edges. One thing I noticed had to be one reason Chevy doesn't really want it showed off... on the silver SS you can see about an inch of the light pip sticking out from behind the plastic orange panel. If some casual spectator would have caught that they may have just though it was just a poorly put together car not knowing the nature of the vehicle they're looking at.
I spent alot of time trying to find things wrong or that I would change. I found nothing
wrong per se, but if it were up to me the vents would be open, the rear wheels would be wider and the gas cap would be on top... the usualy stuff we've griped about. Other than those unchangeable things the car was absolutely perfect.
