Your post puzzles me: why was the HURST so much to your dislike that you opted to go back to your stock??
I read your entry and seems the only issue was the gear action on 2nd and 3rd.
I wonder if shift engagement, gear selection "feel" were also below your expectations with the HURST.

Can you please share a bit more on what annoyed you so much on this aftermarket shifter???
