Man, I need to visit the V6 threads more often.

I talked to the distributor today and yesterday. They went through plating and, according to my direct source, are scheduled to ship no later than Mid-July.

I've been referring all people interested in the V6 Shorties to him directly.

That's all that I know since I'm currently in a holding pattern with my (advertised) business.

I might be getting back into it full force again, but with the Forums now charging the 80-160 a month to "advertise," I needed to consider all the factors in selling product.

Choosing one (such as Camaro5.com) might work out but doing that much times the 6-9 boards I'm on totally shadows any of the profits that we make.

And I'm not about to sell at the same prices that others do. Never have and we'll always tear up anybody on the boards when it comes to price-points.

Granted, we (Southwest Speed) still sells a boatload of stuff, just not as advertised like before.

With that said, call me anytime and I'll get you the latest and greatest.

Take into consideration that those first five were the prototype batch and that the final production of not only the V6 shorties, but also the Catbacks, the V8 LT's and the up and coming 1 7/8 (dare I say Catted out loud??) LT's also run into a bottleneck in some of the final production phases.

Doug Thorley doesn't put out a "thrown together, quick turn" product. They certainly take pride in their products and namesake. That's why newer products like the V6 Shorties are taking the time that they are.

And why those who have "pre-ordered" get the hella good price break.

Right First Batch guys and gals?

Let me know directly if any of you guys run into any issues or just need some customer service.

We're 24/7.
