Today was a great day... great racing and great weather... a tad hot but no rain.
I enjoyed watching the race, lots of cars got tore up. Didnt realize it would be so physical! That one poor Camaro, the silver and orange one... They had to pull it out on a flat bed. Obviously a team without a lot of money... They were trying to fix the car right in the parking lot. It hit the tire wall hard right by where I was sitting. So sad!
The lap around the track was great, I even got to stretch his legs a little. They stopped us to let the tractor pass so we had to catch up...
We also gave 3 unsuspecting guests something to talk about. A family of son, daughter and dad were there looking around and they were shocked we got to go on the track so the outspoken one...
told them to go get a wrist band and we'd take them. So myself, HeinzD01 and SSdan took them. I got dad. Really nice guy. SSdan was the lucky one... he got daughter
she was a real cutie and she LOVED the Camaro... they all did and they were all very nice. The dad said both kids were in college but that he may have to visit a local dealer anyhow!
