Hey there everyone, I just participated in my first car show this past saturday for the Kiwanis Kars for Kids Show and it was an amazing experience. I got to park my car next to SSRS2010 who he and his family were great people and got to meet other Camaro5 members there who just watched the show. Considering that there were about 147 cars there of old classics from the 20's, 40's and of the great US muscle cars of past and even those import trash (sorry I just feel that way), having just a stock 2010 2SS/RS a ton of people were really interested in the car. People were intrigued and curious about the car all around which boy made me feel really damn good about entering my car.
Well at my location I ended up putting together a binder/portfolio of information that I have collected for the past two years of brochures, posters and such and placed it on top of the engine compartment and also displayed a Camaro poster promoting both the 2010 Camaro and the release of Transformers 2 movie, the kids loved that one, and also placed the large brochure opened up on the interior pages inside the cab.
Well being out in the heat the brochure and pages in my portfolio ended up warping a tad bit and I was wondering what do you guys think? Should I keep up with taking and displaying the brochures and posters that I have collected and have them out in the car shows or not? Has anybody done something similar like this or have any other suggestions of what I should include? Thanks.
Oh yeah also I have photos of about 2/3 of the brochures I have collected on my profile in the albums if you guys would like to see.
