I've never trailered my car but if I did I'd tie it down the same way they do on the dyno machines ( through the spokes for the wheels ). This way holds the car steady at 6000 rpm. Seems enough for hold the car for trailering. Just make sure you stretch out your tie off straps so they are pulled tight with the car in between and not straight down from each wheel which would still let the car rock. I hope you can picture what I'm saying.
