In my errant youth I had a similar thing happen to me in the UK, had just bought a Miata and some chav hag slammed her door into me whilst I was sat in the car. I got out and she gave me a mouthful along the lines of "Cos you drive a posh car you think you're better than me" WTF!!
Anyone she popped into the store and I snapped off a couple of wooden toothpicks in her drivers side door lock, hope she had fun making sawdust.
