Ok, spent three days getting pi$$ed off. I lost alot of my personal papers in a fire three years ago. Birth certificate, etc. Had a sudden dose of reality, that you need a "certified" copy of your Birth Certificate to get a passport. I have lived in Kentucky for 17 years. Born in California 40 years ago. (see the dilemna?) Anyhoo, I just found the link on the state dept. website that a lot of documents together form secondary Identification, along with an Identifying witness statment is sufficient. And thanks to "TRM002", I will be going for the passport card. Thanks for that bit of info sir. Ok, I now can calm down, get this done and then book. Hopefully, I will be seeing you all in Oshawa. (God, I feel like a resident alien)
