Actually, that is not uncommon. Last year, my order went in the system on 7/1, and I went from 1100 to 3300 in about two days. Car was built on 7/31, and yes, I got lucky. So, once your car is complete, you'll get your vin # quickly (link info found in the first paragraph of this link)
