Hmmm… not really too sure about DMS, as I'm in Southern California. My boyfriend lives in the East Bay San Fransisco area and has been to a DMS- sponsored event. His GTO won "Best Looking" (the red one in the shot below).

As far as the GTO's handling, I run my automatic car stock with other modded manual goats on canyon-carving episodes. The posted speed limit in those canyons are 45 - 55 MPH, but we usually run about 20 - 30 over. I have never had a problem keeping up. I have, in fact, gotten some comments like "Your GTO's only stock?" "That's an automatic?" "You're really a girl drivin' that thing?! Is it your boyfriend's/husband's car?" (That last one always makes me laugh! ) I do know of a fellow goat enthusiast who has the pedders and his car is freakin' amazing on those runs!!
