So, I stopped at the dealer again today to see if they can do anything with the TPMS problem. I left the car there half the day. When I got back, the tech, Jeff, told me that he called GM about the problem. GM said it's my window tint interfering with the TPMS system and I have to remove my window tint. I told Jeff that I tinted the windows in March and have had no problems with the TPMS system until I used the car's "relearn" feature. Jeff said he didn't buy GM's explanation anyway.

So, he reprogrammed the sensors again using the scanner. He said to call him on his cell if it lost the programming again. So, on the drive home (just like clockwork) about 20 min. into the drive home, the DIC says "Service Tire Pressure Monitor System" and the dash light started flashing.

So, I just called Jeff on his cell phone and he said he is going to have the dealer order a new detector for the car that goes in the headliner. They'll call me when the part comes in. Fortunately, they're treating it as a warranty issue right now.

The saga continues...
