On a side note, were you at the Freedom Chevrolet "car show" they had a few weekends back? That's where I ordered my 2SS from and the sales guy (Ruben) said they were going to have a show with older Camaro's as well as other vehicles there, and when I showed up there were only two 4th Gen camaro's and a bunch of on-the-lot Corvette's with prices on the windshields.

I'm just brainstorming on the warranty issue. I really want that cam swap, but want to keep it under warranty. If they'll do it, I'll pay for the upgrade. Charging, if you think about it, isn't all that different from charging GM, or charging someone else who agrees to pay for it. Instead of sending the bill to one person, you send it to another.
Didn't go to Freedom Chevrolet. Their prices always seemed to be up there with all the work. Take, for example, a fully synthetic oil change. Ancira does it for $55 and Freedom charges $80. Call'em...I wanted to go to Freedom since it saves me about 20-25min round trip in driving. But, for $25, it's worth the drive.
