Your pump took a dump. There is a bulletin on it.
Apparently not the best designed pump in the world. They must have not anticipated high RPM while turning. You'd think something safety related like steering would be a bit more robustly designed, but apparently not.
I had a friend the same thing happened to. He did one donut in a snow covered parking lot and the power steering was toast.
