I've had the "permagrin" from my Sol GXP for two years and 260hp/260 lb/ft is fine but I am too spoiled by 7.5l of V8 torque to truly lust for a 130hp per liter inline four. Plus my folks are getting up there and it's tough for my Pop to get in and out of that low-slung Poncho. I've owned and driven a convertible for 21 years and I don't really need that anymore either,a hardtop Camaro is fine with me

The new Camaro looks like a million dollars, and I drove a 1SS...homerun for Chevy in my opinion. Rides like a dream, handles much better than I ever thought it would, and while the Chevy 6.2 is a downgrade in liters and torque from what I'm used to 420+ brake hp is something else again!

Right now I think I'll be leaning towards a summit white 1SS (sick of rock chips and scratches being so obvious on my cars) , 6 speed manual, RS package. No sunroof, cloth, no spoiler. Basically I want a 1SS, manual box, highest numeric rear end available, a heater, a/c, and a radio. To get just what I want I may have to order it, but I'm not worried about that yet, I just need to concentrate on paying off my GXP first, no need to put the cart before the horse, and I want a nice big check for a downpayment, so patience will be the gameplan

I'll be looking around and getting to know as much as I can about the 5 Gen Camaro
Welcome, and the summit white 1SS will not let you down.

I love that you are going to go spoiler delete. I love the look. If I had the money, that's exactly what I would have done.
