I hate people with money because they spend it without thinking. Let me rephrase, People whom are given their great amout of money, and do not work for it, usually are less than smart when spending it. these are some of the same kind of people that are broke in a few years and can not figure out why.
There are too many examples to give. Lets just say I have seen it alot in my life.
My stance is, if you are going to buy a car, what is the reason for the car? If it is for track days and racing, there are much better choices out there for 60k than the "enhanced" camaro's.
If you are going to drive it around and see the country, then the Camaro is probably not the best one out there either.
A base model upper end car would be better in just about all situations that a sports car type person would be looking for.
It sounds like, to me, that you care more about people looking at your car than you liking your car. If that is the case then buy something like a lotus that people will never see on the roads.
Just My 2 cents. He asked for input and I gave it.
I own the camaro. I love the body style on it. But if I had 60k to buy a car, the camaro would not even make the list.
