Its simple. If you got the money to afford a 32,000+ (at least) car and be able to still live fairly comfortably instead of paycheck to paycheck, then definitely consider the SS. But from your post, sounds like money is an issue. I mean...an LS to an SS is a big step in price...not sure how you can go from affording LS to SS in 4 months, but more power to ya if you can.
As for the V6...yes I have one and love it. No its not a V8 but its definitely a quick car, and over time it can be made even quicker AND have a great sounding exhaust if you invest in something aftermarket. A few bolt ons, and your looking at an easy 320 HP / 290 TQ car, and who the heck can complain about that!!??
