So what are the other performance upgrades? I researched and found the motor and brakes to be the only real difference in a 2LT RS and and a 2SS RS. Clue me in on all of the other differences.
As for me, I am nearing retirement. I love muscle cars but after driving the V6, I was more than happy with it. After I retire, I plan on trading the V6 in on a Z28 (hopefully they will be out by then). I do expect there to be several more peformance upgrades on that bad boy.
You have to decide for yourself. If you can live with the V6, I promise you it will turn just as many heads and be a LOT of fun to drive.
But I have to admit that there are times I miss the deep rumble of a V8.
