That's the best advice yet.

A couple years agom my wife had a car give out on her, so it was tme to get a new one. She went in and got a very low mile 2002 V6 Mustang. It was loaded except for leather and an auto transmission, which she didn't want anyway. She loved the car, but she really wished it had a V8 in it. After only having it only 6 months it was totalled by an uninsured motorist. She was sad, but she replaced it with a new V8 Mustang.

Now she is happy with the new one, but at times she wishes the payments were lower. But to me at least, it's better to make payments that are a little high for your taste than to make payments on a car you are not totally happy with.
