Given the choice of others to not include 2009 Indy 500, Brickyard 400 & other official duty Camaros in the existing Camaro Pace Car thread, I would like to compile a thread of REAL non-replica Camaros.

Based on the immense popularity of the new C5 Camaro, over the past year it has been used in numerous official race events. If you own one of these special cars please feel free to post pics and specifics on your car.

I own a special car in that it was #5 car at the 2009 Indy 500 and later car #25 at the 2009 Brickyard 400. This is a pre-production car with a vin of 90000670 and is currently in a Ohio muscle car museum. The car was purchased from Penske Chevrolet in IN. and currently only has 800 miles on it.
