Sounds like from that magazine article....where the rumors of the top dawg supercharged LS3 would be putting out (actually, I'm pretty sure it was 550hp.) for the Z28. And...there were rumors of the SS as well.
This was just one mag article where they swore they had a GM insider sworn to secrecy. Still...all speculation.
