Check this out, I am at Ft Rucker, where all the Army's hotshot soon-to-be helicopter pilots come for 2 years of flight school.
It's freaking Corvette Country here. I've stopped counting how many Camaros I see when I drive to work and back home. And I'll be damned if I don't see a dozen lifted trucks and Jeeps with ridiculously big tires everyday.
I can't blame them though, since I ordered a 2011 Camaro myself. haha
I'm guessing that the explanation is if you are young and ballsy enough to fly helicopters for the Army in times of war, you are also stupid enough to drop cash for generally impractical cars.
