I'm going to assume you're trolling... since your wordage implies as much. But still... I'll bite.
To actually be nice about the whole thing,
you're not into manual transmissions. But he is.
Faster? Um. No. Check out the
stock times. The top six times belong to... waaait for it...
manual transmissions. Whoa.

The times are ALL close, though, so I'm good with saying... the transmission DOESN'T MATTER for speed. Yeah, I know. I'm nice like that. I realize the LS3 lovers will point out that .3 of a second is FOREVER in the 1/4 mile... but pffft! (shhh! leave them with their delusions!

)
Safer? I'd like to see the stats on that. Impossible to track.
Cheaper?
Definitely NOT!
Wanting, and owning, a manual transmission does
not mean you're in high school. Nor does it mean you're trying to impress anyone. Personally, I hate automatics.
They suck. Why?
Because I don't like them. Yeah, my
opinion. Anyone with an IQ of 60 can press one pedal. Does that mean everyone who owns an automatic transmission is stupid? Absolutely
not. It's called '
preference' and '
opinion'. Personally, I enjoy a manual transmission far more than pushing a "Go Fast" pedal.
And... wouldn't you know... I happen to own the LS3. Simple to park, and easier than spitting to use on a hill. Go figure.
