Hi Y'all,
just wonder if someone of you guys had that issue also?!
My car was exposed the first time for a longer periode to the sun (usually it stays in a garage and has only 400 miles on it - I got it 3 weeks ago)
... as this happend approx. 2pm on July 4th in Tuscaloosa, AL.
The window busted towards the outside and was basically just holding together with its tinting foil. The V-shaped gap at the B-pillar was approx. a 1/2 inch wide.
The day after (on Monday) I went to my GM dealer and complained about it, but the service manager told me, he never had that issue before, and that I should report it to my insurancewhich I refused to do.
After my conversation with him, I went to the sales manager and told him about my window, and he told me, that they just had 2 other GM vehicles on their lot with the same issue on door windows (without tinting foil).
So, to me it seems like an supplier issue ...they might have an issue in their glas tempering process
I would appreciate any report of similar issues.
