Hey ya'll! Long time no post!

I'm back from my totally awesome trip!
Las Vegas, San Diego, San Francisco, Seaside, OR, Vancouver, WA, Crater Lake, OR. Now my Camaro's been in every state from here, west!
Went almost 4,000 miles to the dot. Passed 10,000.0 miles, 11,111.1 miles, and 12,345.6 miles, and took pics of each one.
I'm gonna filter through my 2500 pictures and choose the best, then post them in another thread. I posted some pics of the aftermath, and thats only part of it, I did wash her half way through, but couldn't find another hand car wash since then.
Some things I found out/did:
  • Found out San Francisco's roads are horrible in a nice Camaro. Potholes everywhere!
  • Drove litterally the greatest road in my life: California's Highway 1 was spectacular, but on the northern-most part of it, far north of San Fran, highyway 1 goes through the redwoods, over mountains, cuts away from the coast, and ends at hwy 101; probably 15 miles of this stretch. The speed limit is 55, but the road is so curvy, and steep in parts you won't hit 55, but you can if you want, cause thats the speed limit. There were probably a hundred curves with signs to take it at 20 or slower. It was litterally the best road I've ever driven! And I've driven some sweet roads!
  • Found out my car is slow here :( It was so much fun, and noticably faster near sea level. I knew it would be quicker, but it was so much more fun! The first time I hammered it at high altitude after, I was actually disapointed!
Guess I need to get her tuned, and maybe some high flow cats, to give me that extra umph!
  • I may or may not have set a new personal high speed in my new Camaro, possibly 120. May or may not have gone faster if there wasn't a car on the horizon. Still doesn't come close to my old Camaro's high of maybe 151. However it may or may not have been a lot smoother than my old one, maybe.
  • May or may not have found out we can set our cruise control above 100mph! A lot of cars won't let you set it above 80mph, such as the 300C, or Charger, even with a hemi! (unless they changed it) I may or may not have set mine at possibly 103, maybe.
  • Saw a least one of every color of new Camaro, except ABM, didn't see even one of them!
  • Up north, it almost seemed a lot of people hadn't seen many Camaro's, I had many, many pictures taken of my Camaro, and made several boy's days, letting them sit in my car, etc.

All in all, it was absolutely fantastic, and I'd do it again, if I could get more time off.

So concerning our next get together, lets go on a cruise this saturday! Lets go on that cruise through the canyon that Slick's been talking about!
