Anyways I have made up my mind today about trading in my SS for a 5.0. I will come out with lower monthly payments due to a combination of 2.99% APR, having had the SS for exactly a year now, and most importantly the resale value of a 2010 SS is only a couple thousand below msrp. It would be as if I spent a couple thousand to be able to drive my SS for a year and enjoy it.
It's been a fun ride and I will continue to come on this forum since I enjoy reading and talking to the friends I've made. There is no fanboyism with me. I love the Camaro and the Stang equally. I owned a Stang for over 12 years and it still works perfect.. I owned a Camaro for a year and it has treated me well. I will own another Mustang and continue the American muscle car heritage that is in my blood. Go USA It will be interesting to see people in Camaro's not give me the thumbs up anymore..lol.. I know I won't get as many compliments at the pump either.. But you know I was never an attention getter before, and an orange Camaro really does make things easy for the cops. That is why a dark blue Mustang will be more low profile for me and it's a plus that it gets 4.5 (motortrend ran an auto GT at 4.3) 0-60 bone stock so I can use the power when I need it.
Motortrend's 4.3 0-60 video on the new 5.0.
