CAGS is basically rigging the car to cheat on EPA fuel economy tests. IRL, depending on how you drive and what you want it may be better to shift through all the gears, though with 6 close-ratio gears there's really no point unless you're trying to stay near redline during a drag race.

I just enjoy shifting and would want to use all my gears even though I'm not accelerating hard.
