VIN# = 20801 with 10,000 miles
Experience with Manual Xmission = Skillful. Driving manual xmission cars for 27 years. Put 210,000 miles on 1991 Mustang 5.0 on original OEM clutch without 1 issue...Nuff said. (Should have never sold that car).
  • Occasional clutch burning smell from time to time
  • Notchy 1st to 2nd gear transition
  • Just this morning (7/19/2010) for the 1st time, 1st gear will not engage smoothly no matter how hard I try to finesse it. Very choppy engagement which is what I call clutch chatter. Sometimes this also happens when engaging 2nd gear. All other gears engage fine.
Talked to dealership this morning to set up an appointment and the service dude told me there was a "clutch chatter" service bulliten out for the 2010 Camaro and something about the rear end too so we'll see what happens.

Anyone heard of the clutch chatter TSB and have any info on it?
