the words aren't fancy. Just common used words when referring to cam specs.

Any camshaft, if bigger than stock, will require new valve springs. even mild ones.

a full cam swap costs about $1,000 in parts... regardless of size, as long as it's on a stock bottom end motor. That's to include camshaft, valve springs, pushrods, and tune.

A turbo is going to run you over $7,000.

How is doing a cam swap referred to as "spending big money" and then you tell him to go turbo?

Might I suggest reading the cam sticky and maybe learning about cam shafts a little more?
