Left Lane News reported that "Looking a little bit deeper into the crystal ball, Stracke says the next-generation Camaro will be making the transition to GM’s upcoming Alpha platform. The Alpha platform is expected to be more compact than the Camaro’s current Zeta underpinnings, and will also serve as the architecture for at least two Cadillac models. "Enthusiasts will be happy to know the Z28 model will make the transition to the Alpha-based car"

If true, I'd prefer the Z28 to be introduced and lead the new Alpha stage. I might miss a little elbow room, but they will figure it out! Of course that begs the question, was the mule shown a decoy to take us all off the real excitement they are planning for us!!
Yes, there will be a 6th gen Z28 on Alpha, along with the 6th gen SS, 6th gen LT, and 6th gen LS (or what ever trim levels GM plans to use). It will not be exclusive to the Z28 and it is not expected for another 5 years or so.
